Who are Higgy’s Heroes?

So far they have been runners, walkers, darts players, artists and all manner of people doing all manner of things. What makes them a Higgy’s Hero is that in doing these things they have raised money for The Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre, a national charity of which Alastair “Higgy” Hignell is patron.

It all started when an intrepid band of fifty-somethings decided to run the Flora London Marathon in tribute to Higgy. These men (and one woman) had all been teammates or opponents of Higgy during their time playing rugby at University some 30 years ago. They were dubbed “Higgy’s Heroes” and the name stuck.

So how can you be one of Higgy’s Heroes? It is easy! Either join in with one of our existing events or take on an event of your own (it can be a simple as a sponsored walk or similar) and of course, raise money for MSRC. Click on “I want to be a Hero” and let us know what you want to do!
